Louisiana School Counselor Association
Our purpose is to support professional school counselors as they assist students and their families in academic, college/career, and social/emotional development.
The largest and chartered division of the Louisiana Counseling Association and an affiliate of the American Counseling Association, LSCA is a professional counseling organization in Louisiana concerned exclusively with school counselors. LSCA members are comprised of public and private K-12 and post-secondary schools. We allow school counselors on all levels to establish and improve the standards of school counseling as a profession. Through collaboration with the State Department of Education, LSCA focuses on issues related to school counseling.
Conscious Therapy and Wellness, Inc. is proud to recognize Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month by hosting a FREE virtual community event focused on healing, vulnerability, and wellness among Black men and boys.
This powerful conversation will explore the impact of emotional suppression, systemic stress, father absence, and cultural expectations surrounding masculinity while highlighting strength-based and community-centered approaches to healing.
Together, we will create space for honest dialogue, emotional wellness, prevention, and empowerment. Healing begins when Black men are seen, heard, and supported.
